Driving at Roots Hall

CANV

Coach
due to complaints from members of the public the carpark at roots hall will now be closed from one hour before kick off untill ten minutes after kick off..  it will close again ten minutes before the final whistle and remain closed for a further hour after.. this is due to the health issues arising from the exhaust fumes..
.
A.Stroker, from Prittlewell said it was a great idea.."I have to walk through the car park with my two young children, there is no way they should have to breathe in those fumes.. wont anyone think of the children, they are the future of the club!"
.
C.Hunt, from hockley added."I totally agree with this, sometimes that car park resembles downtown L.A.! everyone knows that breathing in those fumes for more than 5 seconds will give you cancer and piles..
.
T.Watt, from Benfleet says "Look this was always going to happen, I cant see why people cant park down at the sea front and walk up, if people cant do without their cars for 2 measly hours then there is something wrong with them"

Club chairman King said. " We have to respond to public opinion on this. I recieved 7 e mails about this last year!"

He did add something else but it was drowned out by the sound of him lighting up a 3 litre jaguar and leaving the 'car fume exempt' zone in the car park

P.Gig, from Essex police said " we have had 2 e mails from irate walkers in Victoria avenue.. we are curently monitoring the situation but it looks likely that all traffic and buses will be barred from the immediate area on match days..
.
The Shrimpers trust have informed all members that coach services for away games will now commence from Watford gap services ..

I know it's a bit early to think about the 2005 Post of the Year awards, but I would hereby like to nominate CANV for this years honours!
