Drewe Broughton

Coach
(Sent from Facebook)

Shaun Murphy sent a message to the members of Drewe Broughton Appreciation Society.

Subject: DREEEEEEEEEEEEWE!

Has signed for Lincoln - his 18th club. I think we can all agree this is journeymantastic stuff. Oh, and will Drewe's curse strike again? Wrexham, Boston and Rushden have all felt the big man's wrath after signing Drewe on loan and finding themselves relegated.

Be afraid Lincoln fans.

He played for us, and we didn't get relegated. Instead, we went to our first ever major final at the Millennium Stadium.

The man's a legend, and no mistake.

Drrrrroooooooooo

You could discuss his shortfalls till you are blue in the mouth, what remains is the fact he was pivotal in our 2 LDV runs .. most notably of course when he scored THAT goal

It still miffs me greatly that the 2 legged area final against The Ewes was never available as a DVD :madman:

Spot on.

Drewenaldo is a cult hero just for his goal against the scum on that epic night. There is actually a report of that game in the programme from the Tranmere match.

Best of luck Drewenaldo.

He played for us, and we didn't get would have got relegated but thank God the talentless lump of **** got dropped. Instead, we went to our first ever major final at the Millennium Stadium thanks to Tes's goal.

The man's a legendsteaming pile of horse manure, and no mistake.

Drrrrroooooooooo

Corrected.

He may not be the most gifted of players but he'd pull the shirt on & give 100% unlike some of the current crop..

Missed open goal against Scarborough at home in the cup when we were 1-0 up and knew we would play Chelsea in the next round. Never forgiven him for it.

He also nearly cost us a place at Cardiff when he needlessly got sent off against Col Ewe.

We were already winning on away goals at the time, thanks to Tes Bramble, but his stupidity might have cost us that one as well.

Promotion highs have arrived with MK Dons, Peterborough United and Southend United, although there have been many relegation lows with Boston United, Rushden and...

WTF?

How can that talentless **** claim a hand in promotion with us.

He started 5 games and we gained two points and were bottom. We'd have gone down not up if we'd have persevered with him.

Oh right, didn't realise they were a rival? I thought all Shrimpers sites worked together as we have the same things in common. But I do apologise I didn't know that was the rule.

Me neither. Apologies.

I'm not sure they are too close to taking over yet.... ;)
