Jam filled absolutely has to be. Custard filled are the root of all evil and should be destroyed on sight preferably with a large mallet.
 
Chocolate for me... closely followed by custard, not a great fan of jam ones, and i don't like the ring doughnuts they do down the seafront
 
Custard for me, although I had a spate of fecking Tesco's putting Apple doughnuts in the Custard bags. The disappointment when you take the first bite and find sourish apple as appose to creamy vanillary custard is so depressing!!!
 
Back in the day Marks and Sparks used to do rather fantastic Black Cherry filling for their donuts.... they were top notch!
