Still cant believe what happened last night it is unreal.

That is one of the best Southend games i have ever been too behind the two Col U ones last year. Grit determination and a great overall team effort.

If Adam Barrett keeps laying like that he is going to be a Southend legend thats if he isnt snapped up by a top league club.

PS: I am still ****ed out of my head from last night but i dont give a f**k.

It may have just been the 1st round of the LDV, but it felt like we had won the F.A. cup!

When it went to pens, I couldn't imagine a team I was heavily siding with would actually win!

Mrs. OS was in fits as well and said she felt as if Brazil had won.

Phone calls to Blighty were made. Voice was lost.

I spent most of my life bemoaning the fact I was not born in Milan or Barcelona but last night made me thank God I was born in Southend and support the MIGHTY blues. Get in there!!

Bentley was awesome and according to a Col U fan I work with said he should not have gone.

I said to Jim as we were walking back to the car last night, "How much better can this get? We've played the Hamsters of their own park, albeit losing in the process and we get drawn against Col Ewe again and murder them again. And it's not even October yet."
Seeing that performance last night and the players and owner applauding us at the end, I'm beginning to think that if you if you were to cut them in half, you'd find S.U.F.C. printed in nthe middle like a stick of rock.

I didn't think that after last season's games that it wouldn't get much better than that. My god it has. I think the fact that is won on pens made it so much more interesting and the ground was empty (bar Southend fans) about 2 mins after the final whistle.

f**king brilliant stuff and am so proud of the lads. Imagine what a promotion would feel like!!

Personally, I felt like we had finished the season in the top three of League 2 after last nights performance... however, in reality, the play-offs will be nearly as good [we don't want to get ahead of ourselves just yet!].
