Do They Sing

Yes, and we dance aswell. The East stand 'trying to get to the Far Post bar at half-time whilst dodging the queue for the burger stand' rhumba is quite a spectacle!

We're too busy giving stick to the opposition manager in the East stand:guns:

Actually,i sing in the middle section,True Blue i've seen chanting up one end and i believe Jam Man has a go towards the other.

Hold on a minute, now i think of it,you're right we really are grumpy old men in the East who moan constantly.

We are though serious connoursiors (spell?) of the finer aspects of football and enjoy dissecting carefully every pass and tackle, unlike the "happy clappers" elsewhere round the ground who think raising the "barmy army" chant every 5mins will bring everyone to their feet in a crescendo of support and egg the team to victory. (looks for w****r icon in list below):D

You can't miss the General in the East Stand , he has to stand because of his arthritis, he wears a large hearing aid and he has a Polish carer who helps him with his zimmer frame.

I sit in the East and if i'm honest, i don't usually sing. I save it up for away games.

Problem?

The problem is the East Stand as previously stated has a VIP/Directors box separating the stand in two.... In the Blue section are Complimentary s and with mostly player’s wives and kids etc

I sit in the Yellow seats which we are paid up Southend fans… but its hard to get singing going cos the Wags in the Blues look at us like me are bunch of mad/crazy aliens

So we leave our singing for the Groundmans Bar and CAN be very noisy at times as by the second half we are tanked up J while watching the match on TV

So the truth has been told… please South and West stands make some noise cos us and the away fans can barely hear you!!

WE ARE THE EAST STAND WE ARE THE EAST STAND IN THE GROUNDMANS BAR J
