Disappointed in Stuart O'keefe!

Disappointed in Stuart after all that time, hes going to **** off. He is not good enough for League 1 yet, and annoyed that after we give him a chance he put it transfer request

Same, I thought a season playing fairly regular football in League Two would have done him the world of good. Maybe there's an issue with his contract or maybe Sturrock doesn't see him in his plans. But it's disappointing as he's a youth product and someone we all thought would be around next season.

I'm not disappointed in him at all. Why should he show any loyalty to the club when he doesnt know when or even if he'll next get paid.

If any employer of mine did that I can't say I'd be wanting to stick around for too long either.

Spot on, how can anyone blame Southend players for wanting off, its there living and why would you want to work for an employer who might not pay you at the end of the month.

Only a handful of appearances for us and now he feels like he can play at a higher level.

Don't want to be here. Cheerio.

He's not good enough for anything better than League 2 imho. If he feels he can do better then he can f*** off! This has nothing to do with not being paid, coz the PFA have stepped in in that respect. This has more to do with getting their contracts cancelled so they can go and negotiate with other clubs knowing that there is no fee due to SUFC and therefore getting better wages.

Didn't he say only a few weeks ago that he wanted to play in our first team?

never thought o'keefe would leave, must say very dissappointed in him. i know he hasnt been paid etc etc etc but i would say his best way forward is to stay put. he will just warm the bench somewhere else

if the o"keefes of this world want to change into big time charlies they can just fffff off, better off with out them if they cant be asked to play for a club that give em the chance in the 1st place.
