Ha, when a teenage student worked there for a while from the opening night as a potman, before moving on to Annabel's was it, in Victoria shopping centre? Eventually got promoted to barman, those disco nights

My brother was a doorman at annabellas so I used to get in underage. Tuesday night's they did 30p pernods. The next day at school was a nightmare

Fannys was a great place.Had many a good time there.
It was upstairs above the Shrimpers.
And that great Geordie doorman..his name ive just forgot !! Norman?

I never went but knew of it I was a bit young for the grab a granny nights. I did a lot of music recording upstairs at the Blue Boar, Queens hotel and worked at annabel's, - Zhivago's with the DJ for a while, and couple of years doing live music recording for the Folk program on Essex Radio Sunday nights. Mondays used to be doubles night at Zero 6 in those days and spent a lot of time in TotS till I moved away. in the early 80's
