No , he's just been filming another few episodes of 8 out of 10 cats does countdown under his alter ego John Richardson ...he'll be back for this weekend

Odd that at the start of the season he was omitted, got back in the side and then pretty much first choice and now for some unknown reason he is left out again. For PB to say that Hurst did well against an U21 side so he was in squad ahead of Worrall seems one of the strangest decisions he has made, and he has made a few. All the more odd, when you consider he is probably one of the best crosses in the side, good from a dead ball and our best combination going forward in the team when paired with Coker. Guessing there is more too it than that.....

He went off the boil for a few games. So I reckon PB has dropped him, showing that no one is undroppable and makes the players have to want to take the opportunity in the first team when it comes. Which most players have done (prosser, Weston, deegan to name a few) all players no one would've really expected to have featured and impressed as much as theh have done so far this season.

Its not an unknown reason, Brown has already explained why.

Whether we agree with it is another thing. Personally I think he is our best creative outlet and Hurst hasn't delivered in a long time so its not one I particularly understand, but as manager thats Brown's prerogative.

So was Hurst when he was on top form. For a manager that's a great dilema to have.

Ryan Leonard is.

Difference is that Worrall has had a few bad games, when you think what he had to deal with last season with the death of his child i thought he dealt with it excellently. I'm a huge fan of the old Hurst, but he hasnt produced for about two seasons now. As i said earlier, i wonder if there is more too it than Worrall just being a bit out of form

When Brown wants to play with a narrow 3 in midfield its no surprise that the likes of Wozza & Hursty are not getting a game.
Neither is Atkinson or McLaughlin. Weston has played well in recent games so is at the front of the list of widemen , and thats mainly coz he can play centrally too. We dont want all wingers on the bench so if Hursty , for example shows more in training then he gets the nod.

We've got a massive squad and keeping everyone happy is impossible , even when we are winning.

FWIW i reckon Mooney or Piggott will be sacrificed at Gillingham in favour of a more solid 4 or 5 man midfield , so the likes of Worrall should get back in the reckoning.
