Here's my match report. As a (rose-tinted/over-reactinist/open-minded) supporter, I like to (call things as I see them/call things as I see them/not exist).

But anyway, what a (fantastic/boring/crap) football match. How we (won that/drew that/lost that) (with so few players/against that bunch of no-hopers), I'll never know.

Don't give me any of this 'pre-season matches are (a true indicator of form/all about fitness)' crap, it's (all about fitness/all about getting results). I shouldn't say this but (we're going up/we're going down). The new players (look great/look crap/still aren't here yet/look like Wayne Gray's cousins) but the remaining players (still haven't been paid/still haven't been paid).

What does Ron Martin actually (expect Sturrock to do with that lot/see in Sturrock)? He really (is a genius/has his work cut out/is not the answer - Sturrock out!). Already he's shown that (he has more about him than Tilson/he's not fit to lace Tilson's boots).

I'm (returning my season ticket/looking forward to the new season/wondering when I'll get my season ticket refund).

Martin (out/out now/is a prophet/ran over my pet hamster/wouldn't know a new stadium if he went into Stadiums 'R' Us).

I played centre half with "Windy Miller" What a player, he had the turning circle of a bus, but it would go against the Grain to say he was world class. Last saw him at a flour power concert in 1974.
