I don't remember seeing anything about Darryl being offered a new contract, can anyone enlighten me

He was due to sign a new contract at a press conference in the Far Post bar this week but, as everyone knows, Darryl never makes it to the Far Post.

Ahem .....

The contract is waiting for Darryl on the penalty spot. He is desperate to sign it but can't find his way out of the six yard box.

I'm sure we had all these jokes the other day (apart from the far post one , that was good

), seriously though, I can't find any reference to darryl being offered a new contract.

Seriously though chaps...

Tilly has said he is looking for a keeper "to back up Darryl"

Yet he was not offered terms last week

Could it be that he signed a 2 season deal when he arrived? Can anyone remember?

No, it was only a deal until the end of the season.

Cos it was in Darryl Flahavans hands.
They haven't heard that one in, erm, Torquay, Yeovil, Canvey, Colchester, Lincoln, Northampton, etc., etc.

They'll laugh at that one
