Daily Star are reporting that us & Bristol City are interested in signing Danny Granville in the summer - as per the BBC Sport Gossip column today.

Probably just paper talk to be honest, although with Spinner out of the door it would be good to have an experienced versatile defender.

Oh & yes I have signed him for Southend on Football Manager.

Given that he's only just turned 32, he'd be a stonking signing. Him and Clarke would be a good partnership at the back!

Then sort out the right back slot and we'd be getting somewhere....

Definitely a worthwhile signing... We've benefitted from having experienced heads at the back over the last 3 or 4 years in the shape of Spinner, Eagle and Sodje... Wouldn't hurt to replace Spinner with Granville at all. Although, i would also like to see a bit of youth brought in to prove we're going places... Possibly this Centre Back we apparently wanted from Histon?

Yeah, Cambridge made it clear that they wanted something like £500k for him, we offered £50k and he ended up going to Chelsea a couple of days later for £350k.

Was the worst player on the pitch when we played palace at their place, gave the ball away virtually every time he had it, which in turn enabled us to create a good number of chances.

Is this Taylor trying to unload another dud on us and as for a replacement for Spinner, forget it.
