Daily life problems for Darryl the Dwarf

GNH

Fish House Ultras⭐
It is with regret that I must report that one of my dwarf hamsters named after our own vertically challenged keeper has been threatened by his cage mate Carlton, although he is shaken up we have moved him to his own cage so he can get on with his life in safety and without being bullied. Hopefully Darryl won't suffer any long term effects but I felt I had to let you know

I think you need to get a bigger replacement to go alongside Carlton.

Step One - Teach Darryl Karate.
Step Two - Watch the fun.

Thanks for your concern, to give Darryl a bit more control in his new cage we have given him a ladder to reach the higher points, if this works i will be recomending it to Tilly as a long term solution

Can I suggest that you buy a hamster cage accessory for Darryl in the form of a little ball hanging from a stick that can be moved from one side of the cage to the other to help keep the little rodent amused. Then I suggest, for your own pleasure and enjoyment, that you drw a little line across the cage fairly close to the path the ball takes. Then watch in awe and wonderment as the little rodent runs back and forth along the line seemingly mesmorised by the track of the ball. Hours of little fun.
