Cup games... a little help please!

Hi all. Looking to take my son to a game around his birthday, 13th October. On the fixtures release page on the Southend website for October there's this:

Sat Oct 5 Maidenhead United H
Sat Oct 12 Emirates FA Cup 4Q
Sat Oct 19 Rochdale A
Tue Oct 22 Aldershot Town A
Sat Oct 26 Tamworth H

I can't seem to find any information about it online... are we definitely playing this? I don't remember hearing about earlier qualifiers and if we are I'm guessing there's a chance it would be away anyway? Sorry, it's been years since I've attended a cup game so I don't really know what the deal is. Any input appreciated

We enter at round 4 and thats the date its due to be be played (and also why there is no league game that weekend)



The draw will be made after the 3rd qualifying round which is due to be held over the weekend of the 28th September. Its usually made shortly after the last game has been played.

And the 2nd qualifying round is this Saturday 14th September.

It remains regionalised in the qualifying rounds with the draw split into a Northern, Midlands and Southern section during the qualifying rounds.

Is the draw regionalised this year?

The southern section includes Plymouth Parkway, Torquay and Truro - would love it to be an away fourth qualifying tie against the last: it's only half an hour away for yours T, and Truro are doing OK in National South.
That said, it's a 624 mile round-trip for most Shrimpers. So much, for regionalised!
