Cudiccini in Bike Crash

I thought all footballers were banned from their clubs from riding bikes?!
I hope Cudicini is ok, "life changing" is a bit vague.

Normally players are banned from riding bikes, as for 'life changing' injuries I'm guessing it means his wrists are ****ed and he won't play again. But that is just my guess.

I don't get why you would want to as a footballer. Wait until after you've earnt millions and then if you get hurt it won't ruin your career and cost you a lot of potential wages.
Hope he recovers soon, always been one of my favourite keepers.

According to yesterday's Times, Spurs didn't know he had a bike which would make sense given that they are banned from doing activities that could endanger their ability to play football. This could prejudice any insurance claim he may need to make through being forced to retire.
