Dont about anyone else but i am really hoping Tilly gives this kid some match time in pre season, due to squad size cant see why not, scored loads for youth and reserves and hopefully a bit of homegrown goalscoring talent coming through this season.

Come on Tilly if hes good enough hes old enough..

With all the negative stuff about no signings etc, we could have a real star no-ones mentioned

Agreed.

Some pre-season run outs will do him the world of good.

I have a good feeling about Calver. He could be a real, real talent...

Going by last pre season O'Keefe & Herd got time on the pitch and then limited first team chances so hopefully the same will happen with Calver.

As the current outfield squad is the sum total of 14 player I would imagine he would see a fair bit of action unless we start picking up players.

Got to say,Graig Calver looks a very useful player, early days i know, but i predict good things for young mr Calver.

It's early days but he does look to have something there, hopefully he won't go off the rails and he will manage to fulfil his full potential.

From the reserves match i have seen - he has been pretty poor but showed glimpses of ability last night. Barney was getting VERY frustrated with him at times - although sometimes it wasn't always warranted!

I haven't seen him play in pre-season yet but from what I have seen in the reserves he was pretty average. Forshaw, Henry and a few other players who were released looked much better. He dropped deep to pick up the ball and wasn't making many dangerous runs into the box but when a striker drops to get the ball it might just be that the rest of the team isn't playing to his level and couldn't see his runs before so he has resorted to dropping deep.
