Another series of this "comedy" starts on BBC on Friday.

Who thought to put an "o" in the first word of the title and am I the only person who wants to stab the old count to death ?

Never watched it, and never will as the snippets they advertise make me cringe. Looks like he's based on Harry Worth ( who else remembers him? ).
If this is the best BBC can offer for peak time Friday comedy, might as well give up. Just as bad as ITV's Benidorm. Quite enjoyed first 2 or 3 series, but they should have pensioned it off then.

I remember him, I think you right about being based on Harry. I quite liked it on radio but not so much on TV.
