A so he should be, there's been no development (in public) about giving him a new contract. Terrible from SUFC if true.
The contract has been withdrawn to have a clause added to it about a statue being erected in his honour.
I'd weigh him out on a two year deal now, he's settled and adored here.
I would also try to tie down Timlin very soon too

Can we turn him round so he faces my office please?
He will only ever get a one year rolling contract as he is a gamble with his injuries and clubs read a lot into that, hope he signs on for next season tho:thumbsup:
as valuable he is to southend he will struggle to get through a stern medical at another club, that's why a lot of clubs no his injury problems and will not pay a fee for Barry corr, don't forget the time he was out with his back injury that time eh as it wasn't just a couple of months was it, it's a long term injury that could come back at any time unfortunatley, that's what I meant about being a risk for another club to take him off our hands, all he can do is keep knocking in them goals and long may that back injury stay away, would be surprised if a club bid money for corr and very interesting if southend would turn it down as well eh:stunned:Hardly a gamble. He has played week in week out for the last two and a half years. Usually for 90 minutes. He must be one of the most reliable forwards in terms of fitness in the lower leagues.
