I see Jimmy has been on the bench for the last few games now, and still doesn't seem to be getting a crack of the whip, would like to see him get at least 30 mins today especially if we find ourselves a goal down. Or will we be seeing Waste Gray again?

Well Corbett did come on for the last 30 minutes today and he wasn't that impressive. He was at fault for their goal because instead of trying to challenge the incoming player he decided to jump up and down and appeal for offside. I didn't think he was very fast and even when Gower was playing poorly today he was better than Corbett. But still a good win away from home.

'There's only one Adam Barrett !'

was he really on for that long, didnt realise, less than impressive then, he tried, stood out more than gower i would say.

On the left, at the moment Gower really isn't the player he was last season. He is not picking up and running, always passing inside.

A lack of ideas.

Corbett actually came on in the 79th minute yesterday so only had 11 minutes... but on the radio he seemed to make a couple of telling contributions

Bit unfair on Jimmy as he didnt have that long on and he flicked the ball through to dudfield who player wayne gay in for one of the fifty chances that he missed...!!

Still like to see him play regular tho....But cant see how he can get into our midfield now...And with Jay only a few weeks away it is going to be even harder...

I wouldn't count on Jay Smith making a telling contribution to the squad for a while, once he becomes available. He has been out since February & whilst I would be pleaseantly surprised if he came out firing on all cylinders, honestly I can't see it?

I am certain he will make the bench [Corbett style] and he'll certainly be hungry... but I wouldn't be too heavily reliant on him, although he will give us extra options, should we need it.

Corbett set up Wayne Gray with a excellent chance which he fluffed. Saying that Dudfield had a fantastic chance and from what i saw he thought it was a tap in but kicked it straight to the defender on the line. Wasn't a brilliant performance but enough to get 3 points from a very poor Notts County team

not necessarily after all most people are happy with rooney.

Corbett most definitely is NOT overweight, and quite truthfully was in no way to blame for the Notts County goal, being some 10 -15 yards outside the area when the ball was delivered and nowhere near any of the contributors for their goal.
Quite honestly, the player who appeared to be to blame, once again, was Duncan Jupp, who was turned so easily when all he had to do was block their players movement.

According to the official site, Barratt accepts partial responsibility for the County goal, as he indicates he got the slightest of touches, which could possible have deceived Flahavan, who may have prevented the goal otherwise.

Has anyone notice there was no post match opinions from our management on the official site? C'mon Tilson... your views please!

Having seen the goals again on TV you have to say Jupp was turned very easily, Barrett was not at fault, it was a decent shot by their lad and he was entitled to slide in. The shot should never have come in in the first place.

He must have been wearing a jumper under his shirt then. As he was doing an excellent impression of the Michelin Man on Saturday.

He didn't do badly when he came on though. I think he just needs to be playing more then perhaps he'll get back some of his fitness.
