Concert for Diana.

Mad Cyril

The Fresh Prince of Belfairs⭐⭐🦐
I caught 2 minutes of this whilst channel hopping yesterday and I have never seen so many badly dressed, tense people dancing badly in one place.

How the organizers of the event allowed Kanye West to open his set with 'Goldigger' I'll never know but I did enjoy the irony.

I read a review of it in The Times this morning. Apparently 'The Feeling' were one of the better acts. The mind boggles.

Thought the coverage from the BBC was awful as were the presenters - total amateurish.

I agree, absolutely crap coverage with all the jumping to and fro, silence for periods and that daft presenter asking the same questions to every person she interviewed. Rod Stewart was good though :)

I thought the sound was quite bad at times, however I've done a little bit of reading up on it and according to a lot of it, the production crew were out sourced. So the BBC is taking the flack for their incompetence.

Several times it looked like someone just hadn't flicked the microphone on button when artists/introducers came onto stage. That looked very amateurish.

Thought the line-up was pretty amazing though for the type of event. Obviously it's not Glastonbury or V Festival so it's not going to attract the hype of todays music, that was the whole point in it. It was for classic artists who Diana loved like Tom Jones and Rod Stewart.

Boris Becker's clothing sense is trully awful!

I don't wan't to speak ill of the dead but it really winds me up when people talk about Diana as a fashion icon.

In the early 90's everyone was wearing lilac explosive fibres tracksuits, hooded rave tops and kicker boots yet when you opened the paper there was Diana wearing a blazer and capri pants.

It's a joke if you ask me.

i thought the line up was fantastic...

i have to ask though... at which point did P Diddy become a holier than thou Reverend??

i want y'all to sing, and hold hands y'all
can ya feeeeel the power
i said can you feeeelllll the power

mmmmmm, father oh mighty, raise your hands up on in the air and say to the lord... forgive me!
i said cleanse me Lord!

Every step i take....

I turned on at one point and Joss Stone and some paedophile had just finished doing a bit of karaoke, and then Daniel's sis walked on. I waited. And waited.

After a minute or two the crowd had refused to shout "Yes" to her obligatory question of "How ya doing? Everyone having a good time?", the sound had seemingly stopped working and I predictably turned over and watched Coast

I think it was Tom Jones behind that rediculous goatee!

Oh! This has me even more puzzled now, since when has Tom Jones been a paedophile or was that Seany talking out of his backside:confused:

That was a joke merely intended for those that saw that dyed beard of his. Terrible show...

I'm guessing some of you didn't take too kindly to it as my rep seems to have gone a nice shade of red!

If you are a family member or friend of the Jones family, then I apologise profusely. But if indeed you are, have a word with him eh?

I had the sound turned down at the time. That was Tom Jones was it? I thought it was David Gest!
