Haven't been to Roots Hall since we beat Halifax!! Hoping to actually watch a few games this season starting with Leyton on Saturday (tickets came today). Bloke on the train told me this morning that the bar is membership only, is that true? Wheres the best place for a bevvy?
 
Outside the ground you have the Spread, The Boar or down near Prittlewell station you have the Railway, what stand you in, i have been in the west and east bars and they are defently not memebership, I think the shrimpers bar maybe, but thats it
 
Think your mate might be referring to the Shrimpers Trust bar, which is free to members and only 50p to non members anyway.

I'm afraid it's members only, unless you can get someone to sign you in as a guest. You can't just walk in. Police requirement.
