Comedy Moment today

Soton Blue

First XI
Hilarious incident today in the second half. We had just gained a corner and a Yeovil player was down in the box. Another Yeovil player was walking backwards and managed to fall over the player already on the floor. Went flying. If taht wasn't enough the Goat and Prior began celebrating the incident - arms in the air and absolutely wetting themselves. Prior had the decency to shake the Yeovil players hand and was still laughing long after the ball had been cleared. Just hope the TV cameras picked it up as it was priceless and a real candidate for "third eye" on Soccer AM.

David Crown described the incident on BW and he was wetting himself!

that comedy moment was almost worth the journey alone

Thats why we're top the league

does anyone know the rough time of the incident. reason being that soccerAM do not have the resources to find the incident themselves. they will phone yeovil, tell them roughly when it was and then be sent the particular action. would love to see this so any help would be much appreciated

I never thought I'd see an experienced, well-respected and gentlemanly professional such as The Goat wave his arms about and laugh at fellow players like a little schoolboy in the middle of such an important match.

But I'm glad I did - I've never laughed so much at a football match over a single incident - it was hilarious!!!

As I said to Soton Blue on the way home, I seriously doubt whether the TV cameras will have picked it up - apart from the main one, there was another one, but that was at the far end of the pitch. As we were just about to take a corner, the camera would have been directed over there and not in the penalty area. So I reckon we'll never get a chance to see it again!

But we had the best view of the incident from behind the goal, particularly to see the faces of all our players as they moved towards the goal to get ready for the corner - Prior particularly just couldn't control himself!

funniest thing ever in football, the way goater started jumping about laughing with his arms in the air....

But there is a serious side to this too - one Shrimper was actually hospitalised for laughing so hard his eyeball spontaneously combusted.

The Yeovil player was none too impressed when Goater tried to give him a high five!

A moment which made the day even more enjoyable.... but I bet the TV cameras missed it!

AS for the celebrations...Goater started wavin his arms in the air first, Spinner joined in and Super AB also got in on the action...they were all High 5ing and hand shaking - the lot!
Goat was hilarious....could imagine him chortling away for the rest of the time he was on the pitch and i reckon that's why he had to go off in the end!

Absolutely blinding moment and definitely the funniest in all my time watching football - EVER!

I DON'T CARE if the Goat doesn't even touch the ball again this season...playing or not...that was simply worth a year's worth of his wages in my book. I met him at Fleet services on the way home as he was dropped off there and I told him so. Said that I cared little for his goal after that celebration and thanked him heavily for possibly the funniest moment I've seen in football.
I went to a party in London last night with lots of people I didn't know and I'm sure I was found re-enacting it on my hands and knees on a red wine-ridden kitchen floor...
It was THAT funny. I am sorry for the people that weren't there, and even more sorry for the people that were and missed it!
