Come on, own up who did it...

Some fantastic quotes from that story...

"Yesterday, the camp residents were too upset to talk about the fire, but some shouted obscenities and threatened an Echo photographer who turned up to capture the aftermath."

"Mr Garston said he did not condone the suspected arson, but added that the campaigners should not be on the site in the first place."

:hilarious: :hilarious:

Hopefully they get the picture now and leave the site. The thing that makes me laugh is one of the arguments they're using is the spiralling cost of the road, yet they're a contributing factor as to why the costs are spiralling.

This is half relevant to our stadium aswell though isnt it? Werent they also complaining about that?!
Maybe it was a naturally occuring bush fire, afterall it was really hot on Sunday - I guess it was even hotter at camp bling in the evening lol

Police are checking on the wherabouts of "Firestorm" on Sunday evening:D

I was at home m'lud, just me and my matches.....

one of the comments on the echo site was about bringing the arsonists to justice, that intrigued me because i would have thought that setting fire to a pile of wood on a bit of waste land was not much of an offence.

not so funny if someone had been in the building at the time, then you would be talking murder, if someone thinks it was done on purpose. But why let something like that get in the way, as it happens I dont think the new road is going to be built as the cost goes way beyond the value of what it will achieve

Ah but this didn't happen, otherwise the thread wouldn't have started.

Perhaps we should file a complaint about the damage they've just caused to the ozone layer ? (as well as wasting valuable Oxygen just by existing).
