Who is the greater Southend legend?

  • Total voters

  • Poll closed .
Although Spud Taylor showed a lot of potential at Southend (hence his big money transfer to Crystal Palace and later realisation of that potential at Crystal Palace, Spurs and at international level), working from my memory of the matches he played in for Southend, he did not play the same kind of key, influential role that Colin Morris played. Although Morris was not in the same class in footballing terms as Spud was at his post-Southend best, as a Southend player Morris was a more valuable and essential member of the Southend teams in which he played.

Yeah, can't fault the logic here or the fact that Liverpool felt they should kick the life out of CM in THAT FA Cup tie
