What is the world coming to when Colin Firth can win the Oscar for best actor?

I haven't seen the film which I assume is unwatchable **** like the rest of his output but for me he is a poor mans Hugh Grant at best.

I thought he was good in The King's Speech (which is a good film). However I actually though James Franco was very good in 127 Hours, as well as Jessie Eisenberg in The Social Network.

Thought it was a really good film and a good performance from Firth. Far better than any of the competition, and to be honest was an easy year to win it.
