Cole "can be new Giggs" - Fairclough

He was already dubbed the 'non-league Ryan Giggs' when we signed him.

Sadly he lived up to the non-league bit more than the Ryan Giggs part.

Please no one dare mention his name cause I will ****ing flip!! LOL!

Good Luck to the lad wasn't really given a chance and would have him back in a flash to give him another chance.

He was given plenty of chances.

Whilst he did well and looked good coming from the bench he never looked strong enough and any challenge took him out of the game.

Personally Id have liked him to stay but a season in the reserves last season would have done him no favours and leaving was probably for the best.

I was disappointed that Mitchell Cole was allowed to leave as at his best he was a deceptively quick and gifted player. Although he did not produce his best form often enough for us it must have been difficult without a protracted run in the first team. I think he could do a Kightly if he has the determination.

I agree, I believe we never saw the best of him as he didn't secure a run in the first 11.

Felt he was always a player with the potential to excite but think he would have got more games if we were in League 1 lst year.

Good Luck to him.
