Col Ewe on verge of making club history

We are now officially in spelling out the score on the vidiprinter territory

Preston 7 (s...e...v...e...n) Col Ewe 0.

Depending on how long the ref plays for stoppages and all those restarts after each of the 7 (seven) to date goals, they could be on course for double figures.

Four4 minutes to go. Surely Col Ewe won't choke when history is within touching distance for them.

Can't believe they choked: they had history in their grasp.

Preston had only scored 3 goals in their last 8, so maybe the goalkeeper should have given them a helping hand (again).

The league is more important........

However that was a joke result glad I didnt go I had a feeling we would lose but not by seven goals!

Freak results like this happen every season (Man U - Leeds today). Be interesting to see how you get on in your next 3-4 league games after yesterday. This is when Boothroyds managerial experience (re motivation) will be tested.

Agreed BBBL (What a great little player Billy was by the way!)

Sounds like we are signing another player in the next few days, a striker called Ian Henderson who has been playing in Turkey, his stats dont look good from playing in the UK but Boothroyd has worked with him before so we shall see. Some tough games comig up including an on form Yeovil away and the home game against Naarwich.

Like you and the other 4000 misguided scummers up the A12 - Just face it you will NEVER EVER be anything special

They will always be special to us TB, just like Southend United will always be special to you, real football fans have one team in their hearts you know the sort of team that makes or breaks your week, no matter how big or small they are. If you see a prem team score a great goal you maybe impressed, your team score one from 2 yards and it is the greatest goal of the day, I think you know where I'm coming from.
