I drove past the new club shop yesterday and had the best look I could driving at 40mph down the hill and im sure i saw it being built over two floors... can anyone confirm this?..

Also, anyone got any ideas what its due to look like when finished and how its being set out?..

Yeh it is two floor and it looks like its connected to that house that was on the side as that is being painted to.

I thought so, will this also be the site for the new computer centre for the school kids?.

All i know is that it's going to be a Nike shop as it's being franchised and that the ticket office and club shop will be together. So that might be the reason for the two floors.

If that is the case, does it mean we'll start selling Man U kits?

So what's happening to the other external ticket retail outlets? And does that mean that nike will be our kit manufacturers for the forseable future, i.e. in more than 3 years time?

all sounds quite exciting really. just getting my first southend update for over 3weeks as im away with the other half on a venezaulan island called margarita. theres no papers no phones - that speak english, and one computer!! after that little rant, i think a nike shop would be brilliant and two floors - can any other club claim to have a two floored club shop?!?!

I would guess some of the Premier$hite clubs have one... and if not, Malcolm will probably build one at Old Trafford since he needs to make such a ridiculous amount of money.

I think it's more likely that the club shop would be one floor with the ticket office the other.

If it's as you predict, that ain't very considerate for the disabled fans who wish to use the club shop who the club are trying to improve facilities for.

A very good point!

On another note, I foolishly tried to go to the club shop the other day knowing full well (but somehow forgetting) it was being refurbished. Sadly I never took the time to note down where, if anywhere, the club is currently selling from. Anyone know?

Don't worry disabled fans are being catered for more than ever.

As for the shop it's been relocated to the Sponsors Lounge which is just over the East Stand bridge and to the left.
