Club shop refund

Note sure if this is the correct place or not please delete if not appropriate.

Purchased a home shirt online. Returned it at the Hartlepool game and got an email confirming a refund had been processed.

However am yet to receive the refund back to my original payment method?

I've emailed the club (24th of December) and am waiting until after the new year to chase as unsure of opening times etc

Didn't know if anyone else had had similar issues / delays with the refund returning to the original payment method.
 
I would suggest that you wait until after the New Year. Probably not a shop issue, but a banking one. Boxing Day was last Thursday, probably 3 bank working days to process so maybe it's in today? If you haven't had it by the end of the week, then let me know and I'll chase up.
 
Refund was processed on the 14th (Hartlepool game) but hadn't credited by the 24th when i sent my email. Still not been refunded. Will wait until Monday the 6th before contacting the shop.

Sorry, got confused there, thought Hartlepool was Boxing Day! Yes, you should have had that by now. I don't know if the shop is open even, but will drop Liam a message.
 
Update - Went into the club shop on 18th January after still not hearing from Macron. Liam sent another email off to 2 email addresses and bcc'd me into the email. No response was received so I replied to all this morning re-stating the issue and how its been getting on for almost a month since Liam again escalated with Macron with no response from them.

Received a response within 4 hours from the office manager. She had requested the IT team to check it out and they stated that the refund has gone through. I replied stating that it should be the account department checking if the refund has been processed as they would be able to track the flow of money through the bank accounts and accounting systems they use.

They are however going to reimburse me the refund plus charges that I incurred (I didn't make payment on the credit card bill as I assumed (wrongly) that the refund would be processed before the credit card was due)

I await with great anticipation the arrival of the refund.
