We know we are in coiurt on Monday for not paying a tax bill . I can't remember the exact details from when this was a regular occurence, but if we don't pay a tax bill doesn't HMRC immediately report us to the league and the embargo starts immediatley? So we ahve been under an embargo since (at leaset) when HMRC reported us ?

Or is my memory mixing fact with fiction?

Yes an embargo can be placed on us for a number of reasons, including non payment of taxes. But also, not paying opposition clubs for their share of ticket monies, unpaid loan agreements and a whole host of other things!

This current embargo has now been lifted, which will hopefully allow us to bring in Lund, Reeves, Tam etc. But I have no doubt that we will be slapped with another one very soon. So the business will have to be done quick!

Loan window shuts on Thursday next week I believe, we need to pay the Football League for the ticket sales for JPT before then so our 'window' may shut even sooner!

We have not signed him full time. He only turns up from time to time, mainly when he is not really required:smile:

Surely you have misunderstood our exalted leader and the reason he does not risk playing FE is so that our beloved hero does not ever get hurt by those bully boy opposition defenders? All praise to the gaffer for having such reverence for Eastwood.
