Seems not all local authorities are as supportive to their local clubs as ours was...

Looks like Tendring District Council aren't prepared to give an inch and looking at the Chairman's post on their Facebook page have been a bit on the Machiavellian side during 'negotiations' that they seem to have been delaying for years and then just pull a notice to quit out with no prior notice. Rumours abound that now the ex-landfill site has been declared exempt from needing methane monitoring, which came to light in the negotiations, that developers are in the background whetting their lips...

Is this yet another grassroots club on the block? :Angry Mob::Scared:

It is so important to have these teams. You would like to think the local councils would be supportive but obviously not

So? Clacton, or any similar club, could produce the next Freddy Eastwood
Yeh but I don’t get the relevance as to why it’s in this forum ? Maybe general football thread in here for Southend united chit chat.
