Wednesday 29th May
To be held in (well just outside) the Ship

The Ship has a long history, standing on the site of a former coaching inn known as The Talbot, which took its name from a type of hunting dog. Razed by the Great Fire of London in 1666 it was rebuilt and renamed 'The Ship' because of the dock workers and deckhands that then drank here. It's now the spiritual home to the City Shrimpers because of it's proximity to both Fenchurch Street and Liverpool Street stations (and my offices) and the fact that it serves good beer.
All Shrimpers over the age of 18 welcome.
