Christmas party

Looking to organize a Christmas party for a football club (not just guys will be there though) for around 25 people in Southend or nearby. Does anyone have any ideas of places to go and things to do?

One idea so far is a Chinese buffet (noble house or whatever it is called now) with Karaoke.

The casino is another option but that hasn't really gone down too well people.

Ocean City or whatever its called near Chalkwell station is good for a buffet and Kareoke.

Rendevous and Westcliff Casino both tend to do good deals, and the food in both is of a good standard, so i cant see why people wouldnt want to eat there.
