Chris Day

Just noticed he's joined Oldham. Don't want to go through the whole Bart vs. Flavs argument. But a goalkeeper of his experience and quality would have improved the defence and surely he was within our price range if Oldham can afford him

I agree although there may well be question marks over both Flavs & Bart we definitely do not need a third experienced keeper on the books. Our priorities must lie elsewhere.

While Chris Day would have been a solid acquisitoin for the club, we have Bart and Darryl who are adequate for this level and we need to focus our cash on strengthening our attack and defense.

Bang on the mark there.

Does anyone think that Griemink will be able to reclaim a regular 1st team place?

No reason why he should not, Tilly obviously thought he was better than Flavs when he bought him to the club. As Flavs did not sign until after Bart signed and Bart was also first choice until his injury.
