Cheltenham Town

Well done to Cheltenham Town, who beat the fishy chavs of Grimsby 1-0 to be promoted to league 1 - just to make sure it still has a ground as crap as Layer Road...

They could even afford to miss a penalty and two one-on-ones with the Mariner's 'keeper!

Steve Guinan's goal was very good, and was lucky to go in.

Cheltenhamshire la la la, Cheltenhamshire la la la.

Delighted for them, and I feel that is a (minor) score settled with the Fishy Ones.

Just a year ago we were leaping around the MS in ecstasy and wondering what life would be like in League One. I was worried that it would be brief, but I had no idea how brief!

Just a year ago I was bricking it about my finals!

Fully deserved to be fair to Cheltenham. Shame cos I had money on the draw and when the impressive Cohen whipped the ball in for Jones, I thought I was quids in.

As far as I'm concerned justice has been served this weekend, in terms of the events of May 7 2005, what with both Swansea & Grimsby losing their playoff finals

Cheltenham are also having an open top bus parade today. Probably round the inner ring road.

Well done Cheltenham, rather them than Grimsby.

Good to see clips from last year at the end of the programme as well.

I would say in light of the 2 new stands they have built - Cheltenham is better then Layer Road.

Certainly has better grub, even if you are searched on entry. Mind you, I'd go as far to say that the Hall has better grub than Col U.
