By the Iron at the Bridge today and a fantastic turn out of support from up north.

It was a gift from the Mrs and I to Grim Jnr, he has never seen a Premier$hite team in action and has always looked out for Chelsea's results, so after his dedication, patience and support following the blues for the last few seasons we thought it would be a nice suprise for him.

Nice suprise it was too when the Iron went 1 up after 8 mins!

I really felt like jumping up and down in celebration myself after hearing remarks from Chelsea fans such as ''this is going to be a piece of ****'' and ''their only a league 2 side''.

Well Scunny took 50 coaches down and there were loads who made the journey on the train too!

Great noise from them too, even when they were un-lucky enough to put the ball in the back of thier own net!

In a whole, a good day out. Reece loved it but came straight home and looked up SUFC history on the computer (he knows where his roots are!), I enjoyed making the most out of their qaulity facilties mainly bieng the bar and food stalls!, but give me the Hall any day! And a team that mean something rather than a club that boasts a sqaud thats worth god knows how many millions!

Come on you blues!

(the real blues, that is!)

168 million according to the paper. Sounded like Scunny were unlucky, it was a draw on the radio!
Hats off to Exeter too, probably the best cup result ever, hope they win the replay!

Ever?

That United team was utter crap.

Try telling Exeter fans/players that!
If we had that result we'd be "over the moon!"
OK well I would at least.

But not the greatest FA Cup result ever.

Off the top of my head the Everton-Shrewsbury game was a bigger upset. I'm not saying it's the greatest, but it's better simply because they won.

I went to Chelses yesterday aswell, and it was a cracking game and i'm not exagerating by saying the Sc**thorpe certainly deserved spmething out of the match.

Only thing that annoyed me was the terrible organisation by Chelsea, I had to queue up for an hour to collect pre-purchased tickets.

They also said all-tickets had been sold but, in the Shed End in particular, there were plenty of empty seats!

I got there and collected my tickets nice and early then went to the bar!

But I had the same problem when booking tickets, bieng told that it's a sell out so I had to pay top dollar for seats in centinary hall. Was a bit ****ed off to see empty seats here and there! But there you go, wont be frequenting the Bridge too many times!

Hmm actualy the worst FA cup upste of all time goes to..... Col Utd.

Beating Leeds in a Quarter of Semi i believe at the height of the prowess.

Glad you had a good day out... and even happier to hear that Reece returned with The Shrimpers on his mind.

I don't see myself visiting Stamford Bridge again unless the mighty Shrimpers pay a visit!

I went along yesterday simply because it was one of the grounds I haven't done, and I now need just two more to complete my 92!

Still, I probably picked a better (and cheaper!) match than most.

I have only done a few Premier$hite grounds but I thought Chelsea's was qaulity, would'nt go back though.
I would like to go to Old Trafford one day though.

White Hart Lane is a great stadium but doesn't compare to the Millenium Stadium or Roots Hall.

I dunno, it's a funny ground which doesn't quite seem to link together properly.

Old Trafford is undoubtedly impressive but some parts date back to the ugly construtual days of the 60's and are quite dirty.

Villa Park is my personal favourite
