Once again we had no cutting edge Today against Colchester .The frightening thing is that Col.U's Players hardly got out of second gear as most were just strolling about for the whole Game .It just goes to show what a difference a Great Striker makes ,we saw it last Week with Windass and now with Cureton ,these Two Players are not even seen as their Clubs main Stiker .Our back up to our main Striker is ,wait for it ,Bradbury .If you dont score you can't win ,and we need wins so bad .
The Clubs that we have bought Players from for rediculous Money must be rolling about laughing.Foran is the latest to look a terrible over priced buy .Tilly refuses to drop a very Slow Player that would struggle to score Goals in a local Park Team and then when you think about it all the possible replacements are not good enough Strikers either .It's a terrible mess and no way are we staying up or bouncing straight back up without major changes .
The Bradbury Eastwood thing is not working and never will ,it's a non existant partnership as it looks like Bradbury refuses to pass to his partner .Maybe time to recall Paynter to partner Freddy as he now has some Games under his belt and by all reports has been looking sharper and has been one of Bradfords best Players .He can't do much worse ,can he ? .
Apart from Barrett for Sodje ,what changes would you make if you was the Manager ? .

promotion happened too quickly. we need to either stay in the championship and have a bumpy few season before eventually dopping or get relegated and build a foundation for a champiomship club

Promotion didnt happen too quickly at all, I will never subscribe to that theory - We did the exact same thing before and stayed there for 6 years!!

The reason we are going down is really pretty simple

- Squad is ridiculously small for a professional team, let alone one in the Championship

- Money wasted on players who are not up to the job, only Clarke is looking like money we spent

- The manager has made bad decisions at wrong times when under pressure

These could all have been avoided, better players could have been brought in, we shouldnt be relying on a squad anywhere near this thin, it is just bizarre we have chosen to do this and the manager could and should have made better decisions both with the above points and his tactical awareness.

Our failure has nothing to do with being promoted too quickly, that is just the easy answer, and it is not true!

How can you call Foran a "terrible buy" whenhe has barely played in his first choice position since he has got here. And by the way we aren't paying massive fees. 200k is **** all in the championship.

Technically you are correct. But having witnessed the last two shambolic performances I have no confidence in the side to get results whatsoever.

Agree with you about the silly squad size, and rubbishing the theory that we coame up to soon - a favourite of XS, IIRC.

However, gven the wafer thin budget I wonder what other players could have been brought in who would have been up to the job. The sickening thing will be that we will only go down by 3 points or so, come the seasons end.

Get the Under 18 squad out there for the experience i say. The 1st team squad just couldn't give a toss! The U18 may not have the technical ability but at least they will show more desire.

3 points playing like have in last 2 games i cant see us beating anybody. Even Luton will **** all over us.
