Celeb-spotting

I meant to post this yesterday but never got a chance.
While I was out at lunchtime I happened to see Charlie Nicholas poncing around near my office in a sparkly new silver Merc convertable.

We usually have one of these threads each summer to fill in the quiet lull of the close-season so I thought I'd start the ball rolling.

So, which B-listers have you seen in your locale recently?

Phil Neville on Tuesday - sporting a nice pink tank top!

Last week the two brothers who run the factory in Corrie - the youngest one.

Les Battersby most times I go in our local - in fact a lot of the Corrie gang due to the pub being part owned by Vera Duckworth!

Went on holiday to tenerife last week, sat in an Irish bar with the old man and in walked Chris Kamara. Fair play to him he got up on stage and sang half a dozen songs and its fair to say he was a better singer than he was manager!

haha legend!

I did a pub-quiz with Cherie Booth QC last night. Well, we weren't on the same team, but we were doing the same quiz. Einstein's bruv was chatting her up at one point!

Oh, and I won a magnum of champagne, so that was quite cool.

:D

I'm just processing an invoice for Chris Kamara, he does work for the Ladbrokes website.

Does that count

Bit old this one, probably February, but was at the Emirates for Arsenal v Charlton and saw Peter Beardsley. Stopped for a quick chat. Apparently he is an Arsenal fan and goes to most of their games, including Champs League final last season.
Top bloke, just had regular seats in the upper tier, with his wife and kids.

Shame you didn't bop her over the head with it, or at the very least shake it vigorously and open it in her wide-mouth frog face!

Jeez, I f**king hate Cherie Booth-Blair, and breathe!!!

You can say what you like, but she's darn good at her job and also helped raise over £20K last night for Breast Cancer Care, our charity this year.

:)

:)

In view of her well known (alleged?) prediliction for dipping her fingers in the till, I hope you managed to keep all the proceeds intact.

I saw the Chelsea team check in to their hotel at Four Seasons in the Docklands before their 1st leg Champions League match against Valencia, if that counts?

Recently, I've seen:

Cat Stevens near Brick Lane
The "brand new customers" bloke off Northern Lights, swimming in Tenterden pool
Ian Hislop picking his son up from Tonbridge School

Still waiting to see Henry Cooper, Tom Baker and Kelly Holmes who live nearby.
