What pubs should we head towards and which ones are to be avoided!
i remember the prince of wales being a good pub wen we was in the finals but it might be home fans only

If anyone is travelling by road or rail, when you get into Cardiff City centre (or Central Station) head to Penarth 5 miles from the city on the coast. The town is English friendly and a great big pub right by the train station.

I used to live in Penarth and worked in Cardiff and had no trouble at all from any of the locals - it is those down from the valleys you have to be careful of.

It's a long time since I went (the last time we played there I think, drew 2-2 with a Kevin Maher equaliser) I seem to remeber Ninian Park being a good few miles from the Mill Stad.

Hi Scriv - how's the knee ?

Ninian Park is 1.5 miles from City Centre/Station (although has it's own Station, but on a very limited service from Cardiff central). So either 30 minute walk or short cab ride, and there a plenty of cabs by the station.

I may well be going by train. If I do, I'll be in the Prince of Wales until about 2pm. Being in the City Centre, I don't envisage many home fans that are actually going to the game or bothered about the opposition. On a Saturday afternoon it's more likely going to be couples/familes have cheap meals!!
