Car Resprayers

Folks,

Given that nobody loves their cars quite as much as the men of Southend-on-sea, I was wondering if any of you know of any good car resprayers locally... the sort of people who can do that whole "Pimp My Ride" thingy, e.g.

Before you all ask / guffaw with laughter / shake your heads with disbelief, I have not turned into Tim Westwood / Snoop Dog, and I am not about to Pimp my Volvo.

I do potentially have some work for a bodywork / respraying specialist however, so if any of you know of one, let me know...

Besides, anyone who gets upset about their car bodywork in London needs their head examining. If you have a car, then as sure as night follows day, some dodgy crap minicab driver is going to bump into you. You just have to live with it. The Volvo is looking a little care-worn, but she's congestion charge exempt, cheap to run, and gets me from A to B in comfort. That her bodywork is a bit scratched and bumped is, sadly, one of the vicissitudes of life in London.

my dads been a mechanic for nion 30 years, and also does re-spraying... he was once told after re-spraying a part of someones car (with quite a ****ey compressor at the time) that he should give up being a mechanic and take up spraying full time as he could earn a heck of a lot of money...he didnt, but is still pretty nifty with paintwork... also i helped him for 7 hours the other day clear out his garage so he could fit cars in it again... please make use of my manual labour!!
