A ref made a bad decision... That actually benefitted us?

Referring Goaters goal, taking nothing away from a good finish but it did look as if it was offside when Gray/Bradbury had it in the corner. Bradbury had a good game tonight, another hard worker who i'll be disapointed for if Tilson doesn't sign up...

Also was it just me or did that tackle near the end by gray deserve to be a red card. It looked like a two footed tackle to me. I cant believe all this, top of the league, 9 points clear.....think i wake up in a minute.

I was worried when the referee made a big fuss about giving him a card, calling him over, building it up to finally give him...a yellow

I thought it'd be typical for him to get a red after just gettting him back from injury

that tackle was right infront of me and to be honest, it didnt look that bad. Yes it was a touch late but then he hasnt played for ages but it didnt look like he made much contact and the Scunny player made a meal of it. (note the sprint back on without so much of a hint of a limp!)

It was only one foot rather than two but I think all the Scunny players deserve a lot of credit for not getting animated about it. That could have resulted in a red.

I thought the third goal looked a bit dodgy - but then again in the away game their 'keeper should have been sent off for deliberate handball outside the area, so what goes around comes around IMO.

Grays tackle was no worse than the 2 in succession on Jay Smith and Che Wilson moments before that... They were terrible challenges.

i initially thought it was offside when it hit Gray and went onto Gower, who was in an offside position.
But Gray didn't really pass to Gower, it just took a deflection and went onto Gower, any refs know what the definition of a pass is? As It could be because of this that it wasn't given for offside

I thought it was a clear, clear offside. No wonder the Scunny players went mad.

As for the Gray tackle, for me it was a yellow but you've seen players get reds for less so there was definately a bit of worry in the back of my mind.

I would have gone mad like the scunny players, was a bad descision, maybe there was something none of us saw, the assistant was right next to it.
