'c2c Service Disruption
c2c Services are subject to severe disruption due to extreme changes in Atmospheric pressure causing problems with the electrical systems onboard the trains. There is a very limited service operating, and Passengers are strongly advised to abstain from travelling on c2c for the next few hours. Tickets on Great Eastern and London Underground services for equivalent journeys'.

comments anyone?

Not really. Only ended up being 10 mins late, and my boss hasnt even turned up, so didnt disrupt a hardworking day in front of me.

Yeah, had to go to southend vic and got in about twenty mins late.

On a brighter note though, i was sitting near some of the finest women I've seen. One who was the spitting image of Nadine from Girls Aloud and another who had all her nugs hanging out, superb and certianly worth a twenty minute delay.

I didn't really mind being late, it's just the Central Line is ridiculous at that time in the morning, had to let 3 go before I could get on one.

oh, and I agree Mark, the women are defo fitter than the C2C munters!

But has anyone else noticed any other electrical items going wrong due to these "extreme changes in Atmospheric pressure"??

I received the usual excellent service from FGE/One this morning on the 06:21 from Rochford.

I will admit that the steward cut my cigar a little wider than I would have liked but the superb cognac I received more than made up for it.

Service this morning was fine, no problems at all. Mainly because my kindly Doctor signed me off for seven days and I don't have to go into work untill Wednesday, despite the fact that I am now fully recovered and having a great big doss at home! My missus called at 9-30 though to say she was on her third train of the morning and still stuck at Upminster - shame

Means I'll be able to get in The Spread nice and early tomorrow (and first in queue for a Steak and Kidney pie Lee!)

Myself and CS Cockatoo drove to Prittlewell station and got on the Victoria line which took about an hour, lets hope they sort their sh*t out for tonight or i will be going mental.

hour and a half late, but couldn't give a t0$$ as long as I get home on time...always good in these conditions to start spreading rumours that the markets are going to crash, or that, as I did, there wasn't a train broken down it was overrunning engineering works and they were covering their ar$e, managed to cause a mild flutter of dicontent resulting in one irate rhubarb headed man heading for the ticket office to confront a bewildered ticket clerk. Must've been a Boomtown Rat

Quality.

Well, South Eastern trains were fine this morning. Generally a totty-free zone, though.

Out of interest, why has FGE become "One"? Took a "One" train on Saturday (Stratford - Chelmsford) and couldn't help thinking that the announcements sounded rather bizarre... the "One" train to Ipswich, for example...

Bit surprised myself to catch the 7:20 One train a minute earlier than they were announcing.

I've heard of them using leaves on the line as an excuse but blaming global warming seems a bit far fetched!

I agree with u there. I'm going to be a Geography student, and seeing as i've done A Level Geography, changes in Atmospheric Pressure, should not make one bit of difference!
