Well the fact Bush is even in the game and its not a landside to Kerry is nothing short of a miracle and certainly raises questions over the IQ of the American public.

Yeah, that site is a bit of an eye opener isn't it!

''And if America would have had a president, then, of the likes of Kerry, you'd all be goose-stepping around Buckingham Palace

What a f**king to**er, typical American attitude, stuck up there own arse and think they are far better than anything or anyone. The fact we faught alone for 2 years because they wouldn't help the cause of real freedom or help allys and only entered the war when it suited them is so easily forgotten. Jesus it hasn't changed much has it !!!

''Please be advised that I have forwarded this to the CIA and FBI''

I nearly ****ed myself at that, Anyone wanna buy them a IQ test, talk about dumb.

Oh and i love how they go on about us being a little island and how they beat us in 1772 and they are far bigger than us, well they don't mention we found there country and don't have to relay on Vietnam to fill our history books.

Sorry guys but the arrogance and shire stupidness of the American people really gets up my nose.

w***ers !

Yes, Pearl Harbour really did "suit them" ...

No we didn't ... the Spanish did, followed by the French and Dutch.

I think their civil war tends to fill a lot of their history records as well ...

I thought your posts had improved to a certain extent recently, but you've really taken a few steps back to your old, inane self, FM.

1. As Mike said, the Brits did not 'find' their country. Mike states that the Spanish found America, but can it be noted that the land was never 'lost' in the first place... and had been discovered many centuries before any 'new world' settlers stepped foot on the land we know as America by the Native American Indians.

2. You accuse the Americans of a high and mighty attitude, yet you display the same kind of attitude in your comments like the above I have mentioned.

3. Our country IS a 'little island' compared to the vastness of the USA. Fact.

4. You make sweeping generalisations about the Americans being dumb. There are many Americans who are dumb... there are many who are not. Per capita, I reckon the Brits, the French and most other countries can match them on both counts.

Judging by your post... I know which lot you'd be grouped with!

Well the British are obviously good at making generalizations about people based on just a few issues.  Before anyone points out that by saying that I am making a generalization, I'm just trying to prove my point, I don't actually believe this.  I cannot believe the amount of anti-american views I see on this board, it is completely mind-boggling to me.  It seems that some people here will jump on any opportunity to bad mouth Americans.  These kinds of actions show arrogance and even ignorance.

Furthermore, whats this about an amazement that Bush is still in the race.  I feel that some of you are just looking at America's foreign policy and ignoring the fact that many Americans believe in President Bush's domestic policies.

Also, before anyone just writes this off as the words of a Bush supporter I want to let you know that I have already voted for Kerry via an absentee ballot.

Finally, this post isn't directed at everyone, just those people who are vehemently anti-America for some reason or another.

Maybe you guys are still just hung up on losing the American Revolution.

Indeed. Having just returned from a brief visit to the UK - and having spent a morning in Southend High Street - I can confirm that there are plenty of "dumb" Brits in existence, including the w***er who threatened to smack his girlfriend in the mouth for walking away from him in an argument. Big man indeed.

Seth, I know you weren't aiming that comment at me, but I think I've already explained that I am very anti-American in terms of their dumb-*** administration, not necessarily the American citizens themselves. The policies of George W Bush and his administration have made this world a far, far more dangerous place to live in OUTSIDE of the good old US of A. Thanks a bunch, Dubya, and your lapdog Tony Blair, you couple of to**ers ...

I don't think it's Americans being dumb it's just they don't seem to trust anyone who is erm... too smart. Maybe they just don't trust Kerry (because he speaks French?
tounge.gif
) or I don't know whatever.

Plus they never actually entered the war when it suited them (because that seemed like never) it was Hitler who squared up to America. Also I would consider the Brits to be much more Arrogant than Americans on the whole. We are a little island off the North Coast of France an island race and a bunch of freaks especially in Colchester.

Indeed. When Japan attacked the US in Hawaii, the Yanks responded to this threat of imperialist expansion by declaring war on the Japs and consequently on all the Axis Powers - Japan, Germany and Italy. The US had no reason to enter the war until the attack of Pearl Harbour. Indeed public consensus until that point what to keep well out of it (remembering the horror of WWI) as there was little, if any, threat to the country and the administration couldn't be seen to act without the approval of its population.

However one could argue that the US was indeed contributing to the war effort in Europe long before they were forced into world conflict. When the UK ran out of cash needed to buy arms from the US in early 1941, the American administration passed a lend / lease act which effectively allowed the US to give away unlimited amounts of arms to any country for free. Without it, would Britain have survived?
