Not a bad day :) :) Rennie is still on 2 bowling nets for this season, so he will be exceptional by this time next season. When should I stop his batting? He is going to be, long term, my number 6-7 in the order as I want him to be a gun bowler. He's on one batting net.

I may draw the line at remarkable. Wonderful tops, I think, although that is where I stopped my other all-rounder but then he was a lot older at this stage of skill. It's a tough one due to wages.

Depends how desperately you need the net in 3 seasons time, certainly train him for another 2 seasons, up to Remarkable, and then re-assess.

Middleton will give you a big clue wage wise, today's pops were his 1st of the season, and he's about half way towards his next primary pops

I'd drop the 2nd bowling net on Rennie. His consistency is already well behind his bowling. I'd probably give him a keeper net instead (keeper rather than fielding as his fielding is already pretty high and you don't want to increase his wages more than necessary and you can train up to feeble keeping without any noticeable difference in wages).

I think you'll get more out of say a wonderful-wonderful than you would out of a sensational strong, and the double wonderful would be a lot cheaper wage wise.

I'd take him to remarkable in batting as well. I haven't taken any of my all-rounders that high and as a result my lower order gets swept away every time I face a top bowler.

Excellent tip on the fielding there YB, never thought of that. I've no other use for his 2nd bowling net this season, except for stamina, unless I keep one of my market trainees (probably Beattir, posted above) until he's respectable.

A decision to make on Rennie's 2nd net then. Still, nicer to have one potentially free than not having enough.

BB, Middleton's wages look manageable, thanks for pointing it out, will definitely take Rennie to remarkable. He's at least half way to quality batting, by the way.
