I'll give him a WK net when I start wanting him to play, probably, as it'll be more beneficial then (quicker secondary pops, slower WK).

Though by giving him the WK net now it will mean him having less nets in future so he'll be more fit when you want him to play.

That is good thinking, but I'm going to boost my better players' stamina first. I reckon that could be the difference between winning and losing the tight matches in III.

Rennie isn't on a stamina net either yet, but there's no rush for that either.

I would guess he's only just popped looking at his wage, so 1 bowl 1 field for 2 seasons will take him to Quality / Quality. So I would say if you have the nets, and the money, he's not a bad buy. You'll also be able to play him whilst training.

Again I think he would need 2 nets, fielding and w/k, as his cons are far too low. Even then he would need that for 2 seasons to get them anywhere near good enough.

Only worth buying if you're prepared to lay out a minimum of 3 nets (bowling, fielding & stamina) into him. You could possibly live without the concentration and just let him be a pinch hitting opener to set the run rate off but without the consistency he'll never be any use as a bowler. On that basis you may as well use bowling and fielding rather than WK and fielding. He needs stamina as mediocre is too low for an all rounder.

How much have you trained him since the start of the season? That wage suggests he's very low superb.
