not quite the bumper week i was hoping for, but some useful pops nonetheless.

Ron Horsfield - 17 yo, BT Rating=7,776

An attacking player with mediocre leadership skills and woeful experience.
Stamina: competent Wicket Keeping: competent
Batting: competent Concentration: respectable

had a spare batting net for a couple of weeks so stuck it on Rautenbach, managed to get batting and conc pops out of him in that time. pretty sure my trainee spinner is due to pop to prof in the next couple of weeks too.

I got a fielding and consistency pop on Rennie, nothing else. Must be due 4-5 primary pops before the season's out, will be quite stronger for next season.

Rennie's consistency is now woeful, so one more pop in that and he will probably bowl a little bit in FC. He will bring us up to 6 bowlers, which is adequate for next season, even if the bowling isn't too strong.

Had the following, so he'll be quite handy by the time he finishes his training.

Delroy Middleton - 21 yo, BT Rating=39,104
RH Batsman, RM Bowler, proficient batting form, superb bowling form, invigorated
A destructive player with feeble leadership skills and feeble experience.
Stamina: mediocre Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: quality Concentration: respectable
Bowling: remarkable Consistency: strong
Fielding: feeble

Also had this totally worthless pop

Phillip Evelyn - 19 yo, BT Rating=44,897
RH Batsman, RH Spin Bowler, superb batting form, superb bowling form, sublime
A cautious player with feeble leadership skills and abysmal experience.
Stamina: respectable Wicket Keeping: superb
Batting: remarkable Concentration: quality
Bowling: worthless Consistency: mediocre
Fielding: worthless

I'm amazed you've never trained Evelyn in fielding, Allan said WK's need fielding and consistency.

I'm amazed you've never trained Evelyn in fielding,
I've never really had the nets to do it.
Allan said WK's need fielding and consistency.
I think that's only really come out over the last 2 season, by which time it's been too late.

Mrs BB had a right touch with her W/K, she pulled one with Proficient fielding:cry:

This pop hopefully means that Gamage stops being crap with the bat.

7. Dharmadasa Gamage - 20 yo, BT Rating=58,919

You might just need to move him about the order a bit, there's no reason why Superb / Quality shouldn't get stackloads of runs.

Exactly. He aint far off Titterton's batting ability and is already a better bowler. I place Titterton at 4 in the order and his average speaks for itself!

Kev

I actually had a couple of pops this week, I think Daniels' training is now finished.

I also pulled this guy - if only I used my ITS instead of saving it up for next season!

Mat Barnard (1417804)

RH Batsman, RM Bowler, respectable batting form, respectable bowling form, fresh
A cautious player with respectable leadership skills and worthless experience.

Plays For: Geoff_Boycotts_Grandmother XI
Nationality: England
Age: 17 Years Old
Battrick Rating: 1,532 (-8)
Wages: £382 p/w
Stamina: worthless Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: mediocre Concentration: abysmal
Bowling: mediocre Consistency: worthless
Fielding: worthless

He's listed for 0, deadline is Wednesday at 18:26.

If anyone's got the nets to spare (1 x bat, 1 x bowl, 1 x field, 1 x stamina) he'll make a decent trainee.

Justin Scholes - 20 yo, BT Rating=26,850
LH Batsman, LH Spin Bowler, strong batting form, superb bowling form, sublime
A steady player with superb leadership skills and woeful experience.
Stamina: mediocre Wicket Keeping: competent
Batting: worthless Concentration: worthless
Bowling: quality Consistency: quality
Fielding: mediocre

Bit gutted reading WKs need fielding. Whilst slightly obvious I would have thought WK skill would have been a substitute for his fielding ability. Best whack on a fielding net on to my Wk pronto. He's:

Glenn Toulson - 20 yo, BT Rating=59,500
LH Batsman, LH Spin Bowler, superb batting form, superb bowling form, sublime
A destructive player with strong leadership skills and feeble experience.
Stamina: mediocre Wicket Keeping: quality
Batting: quality Concentration: exceptional
Bowling: woeful Consistency: mediocre
Fielding: mediocre
He's already on 1x Sta , 1xWK and 1 x Ba. He should pop in sta next week so will switch that to Fie. Then return it to Sta when he's upped a few levels in fie.

I wouldn't bother Bucks, he's got some fielding already, it's just that Evelyn doesn't have any !! Plus it will put his cons through the roof with both fielding and W/K nets.
