BT Cup Round 6

BILLERICAY BLUE

Rose Tinted Brigade Member⭐⭐🦐
BATTY SHRIMPERS v Eleven Golden Vampires

We can tell you that Eleven Golden Vampires won the toss and elected to field. The pitch is looking quite cracked! A field day for the seam bowlers I would reckon on this sunny day.

I've GFI'd today as I've got a fairly comfortable week coming up. Playing a Level III side, who have a Pakistan NT bowler. We've managed to see off 7 of his overs, for the loss of Fat-Boy and Blakey, looking to step it up now

End of Over 20: 92-2, runrate=4.60
Jabulile 3-0-13-0
Evelyn* 48 (60 balls)
Schoeman 20 (19 balls)

Last Wicket: Blake b. Thomas 0 (FOW: 50/2)

Lost a couple of wickets, and his NT bowler is on for his last 3 overs. We've survived 1, but need for these 2 to bat well into the last 10 to set a reasonable total.

End of Over 35: 170-4, runrate=4.86
Haleem 8-0-28-1
Evelyn* 86 (103 balls)
Curle 3 (6 balls)

Last Wicket: Middleton b. Goulding 2 (FOW: 165/4)

Massive collapse from 159-2

End of Over 41: 183-9, runrate=4.46
Jabulile 6-1-16-2
Raziuddin* 2 (9 balls)
Prasad 0 (0 balls)

Last Wicket: Oconnor c. Thomas b. Jabulile 1 (FOW: 183/9)

Edit - 185ao, not enough !

Game on perchance ???

End of Over 4: 13-2, runrate=3.25, reqrunrate=3.76 (185-10)
Schoeman 2-0-9-1
Raisani* 10 (13 balls)
Miles 0 (1 balls)

Last Wicket: Night c. Middleton b. Schoeman 2 (FOW: 13/2)

Im TIE'ing and hoped to win the toss and bowl but unfortunately, that didn't happen!

My batting saw us ...

End of Over 50: 306-4, runrate=6.12
Nutter 10-0-55-1
Philip* 84 (87 balls)
Raven 43 (38 balls)

Last Wicket: Tapp lbw b. Ur-rehman 2 (FOW: 211/4)

Other mentions go to Lamb who got 89 from 90 balls and Titterton got his 86 from 77 balls.

and in reply ...

End of Over 15: 57-7, runrate=3.80, reqrunrate=7.14 (306-4)
Jackman 8-2-24-4
Khan* 0 (1 balls)
Freeman 6 (5 balls)

Last Wicket: Nutter c. Sookram b. Jackman 0 (FOW: 50/7)

:)

And that's the end of the match. General Stars won by 247 runs.
General Stars 306-4
Priyank's Devils 59-10

Jackman ends with 6-26 from his 9 overs. Thompson takes 3-7 in his 4 over spell!

Happy days!

Kev

One more wicket could do this for BB!

End of Over 31: 130-5, runrate=4.19, reqrunrate=2.95 (185-10)
Curle 9-2-22-1
Miles* 48 (72 balls)
Jabulile 2 (4 balls)
Last Wicket: Rahim c. Schoeman b. Curle 17 (FOW: 128/5)

Aylesbury in the next round!!

Neil Tiny - 21 yo, BT Rating=96,779
RH Batsman, RM Bowler, superb batting form, proficient bowling form, energetic fitness.
A defensive player with respectable leadership skills and mediocre experience.

This is their obvious threat. Apart from that they have a 30k player and a load of 20k's! Will probably be my toughest match of the week and will probably play a full strength team. Winnable game in the FC format, will be a nice TIE on Friday and then Mrs BB the week after, a game in which i have no interest to compete in, unless she is having some untimely fitness issues! Will be dissapointed to lose this so hopefully the cup run will continue!
