Have I missed anyone?

I've got a tougher game than could be expected at this stage. I'm in the midst of some wheeling and dealing on the TM at the moment, so haven't got a clue as to who's actually going to be in my team.

Tselane is going to be sold today. I've got a bid of 6m for him at the moment, bidding finishes at 13.15. I've bought an all-rounder, Superb / Feeble Bat, and Quality / Respectable bowling. He's 21 so he'll be getting 4 nets to build those cons up.

Blackbourn is on the TM now, Strong/Strong RM who's up for 2.25m. I need to upgrade him for an FM as I don't have one. If he goes for that, I'll have about 4m, which should enable me to pick up a Superb with a bit of luck.

I'm tempted to do something similar BB. I have £2.1million in the bank at the moment with a home game coming up, so should increase that by £180K.

If I was to upgrade my 5th bowler, this guy would be sold:

8. Elton Allen (845336)
RH Batsman, RFM Bowler, strong batting form, superb bowling form, sublime
A defensive player with strong leadership skills and feeble experience.

Plays For: Southend
Nationality: England
Age: 25 Years Old
Battrick Rating: 12,187 (-111)
Wages: £2,509 p/w

Stamina: competent Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: abysmal Concentration: abysmal
Bowling: strong Consistency: feeble
Fielding: respectable

How much would he fetch on the market? Would need another FM to replace him though.

Decided to have a go at this '42 day trading' lark. Picked up this guy for £20k. A quick batting pop and I should hopefully turn a profit (regardless of concentration and stamina):

Rich Dagnall (1273916)
LH Batsman, LH Spin Bowler, competent batting form, competent bowling form, lively
A steady player with abysmal leadership skills and abysmal experience.

Plays For: ShrimperZone CC
Nationality: New Zealand
Age: 17 Years Old
Battrick Rating: 5,209 (-77)
Wages: £1,193 p/w

Stamina: worthless Wicket Keeping: abysmal
Batting: respectable Concentration: abysmal
Bowling: mediocre Consistency: mediocre
Fielding: worthless

I would guess about 1.8m, poor secondary offset by reasonable stamina.

Hmm, so that'd put me up to 4 million.

And this guy:

7. Billy Clark - 24 yo, BT Rating=14,393
LH Batsman, LF Bowler, superb batting form, superb bowling form, sublime
An attacking player with feeble leadership skills and woeful experience.
Stamina: mediocre Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: feeble Concentration: mediocre
Bowling: respectable Consistency: strong
Fielding: woeful

He'd get a million I'd say due to batting and consistency.

How much profit do you expect to make?

No idea, hoping to find someone who'll get all excited about a 17yo proficient in 6 weeks time!

This guy is currently selling for £200k:

Jordan Brown (1278085)
RH Batsman, RF Bowler, mediocre batting form, respectable bowling form, fresh
A destructive player with superb leadership skills and abysmal experience.

Plays For: Kao!
Nationality: New Zealand
Age: 17 Years Old
Battrick Rating: 4,768
Wages: £1,125 p/w

Stamina: worthless Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: proficient Concentration: woeful
Bowling: mediocre Consistency: feeble
Fielding: worthless

Muse, I reckon about 1m tops maybe a little bit less.

B, I reckon you would get 200k, some idiot will bite on the Proficient Batting.

Just got another bid on Tselane, which puts him up to 6.1m. Hopefully, I'll get a couple in a bidding war and they'll push it up beyond 6.5m

£200k would be fine. How much is one net worth? One level seems to be about £1m in market value so if you average it out at 14 weeks for 17-22yo players that's £70k per net (very crude calculation I know). Assuming he pops first week (which he will looking at the other guy) it should be worth it (plus I have a token batsman I can use in easier games to rest the likes of Cunningham and Mcconnell).

If anyone gets a chance can they post a few updates on my match + Kev, Toddy and Andee. Ta!

Can't access different teams again, might be able to update you all at the end though.

right, its working now..

me... I lopst, batted to 265, and they got to the target with 5 balls left.

----------------------------------------------------------

Andee

Gambero CC bowl out oppo for 48 and reach the target losing just one wicket.

----------------------------------------------------------

Mr B

Shrimperzone bat to 307/4, before dismissing oppo for just 63

----------------------------------------------------------

Kev

General Stars bowl out oppo for just 45, before smashing the winning runs off 10 overs losing one wicket.

----------------------------------------------------------

Toddy

Southend United let oppo hit 206, however quick batting allows them to ease home in 34 overs without loss.

I won by 8 wickets, chasing down 280, Evelyn smashing 148* off 124 balls. O'connor took another 4 wickets, making it 9 from 3 games. 20/20 was a definite help as it made me use him in the 1st bowler slot, which I'd never tried.

Mrs BB won by 9 wickets chasing 250 odd
