Lets just say for the sake of it Tilson went for any reason don't matter what would Brush be your choice to take the job or is his forte being a coach?

Quote[/b] ]I cannot bring myself to cast a vote. The idea of Tilly going is just to horrible to contemplate.

Same here ..... Iam sure Col Ewe, Brentford, Swansea & Hudderfield fans will be jumping up & down with joy if that EVER happen.

Southend will be back where we come from & in face of wind up from Col Ewes fans .... its be a worst timing for Tilson to leave since Barry Fry left for Birmingham.

agree on the manager front, but i would thing brush would leave with tilson

Whoever takes over in the disastrous event of Tilly going wouldn't stand a chance. He would have to win every game or the knives would be out. It's a scenario too horrible to consider at the moment.

One exception - in 20 years time, with Southend an established Premier$hite side and regular crowds of 15,000 plus, I would be delighted for Steve if the England job was offered. I am sure 90% of fans would also accept that scenario and give him our gratitude and blessing.

There is no other alternative acceptable to me regarding his departure.

I would'nt not give him gratitude and blessing if he walk out for Leicester job leaving us crying our eye out & Col Ewes fan laughing.

He's not going to do that Murkey. I don't even know why you would suggest something like that.

Its an stupid thing for me to type, Tilson alway my hero from the earlier 90's as an kid - Iam scarred by Barry Fry walk out in 1993 & Webb bust up with Vic Jobson when Southend was doing really well in 1992. The thought of Tilson jumping ship at the wrong time is horrible to think about.

When the time is right for both Tilson & Southend Utd - I would give Tilson my gratitude and blessing in the future, but not right now.

Brushy did ok at Borient, perhaps if Hearne had been a bit more patient it would be them pushing for Championship footy next year, not us.

I'm sure I speak for most fans when I say we all appreciate Brush has as much to do with our success as Tilly does.

We're going up with Brushy & Tilson!!

I don't think he'd stay and I wouldn't have thought he's get the same results as he does with Tilson.

But this is all piein-the-sky talk which isn't gonna happen in the forseeable future.

The obvious choice would be to pull Roy McDonough back from Spain, it's a bit too early for Kev Maher to take over at the helm.
