Just a suggestion, but why not 'close' all the PB threads and perhaps just keep this one open?

We don't need so many neg threads open to share our views.

The guy just talks absolute *****, every time he opens his mouth I cringe, how the hell can he get his point across to the players whilst suffering from chronic verbal diarrhea ? Negative, negative, negative. He should be saying we have some youngsters in the squad who are going to take time to adjust to this level but I believe they are good enough to rise to the challenge. Instead he has to highlight very publicly the negatives. Probably the worst man manager in the entire league. Please Ron get rid now, we have 18 days left to bring players in or it's guaranteed relegation.

His high opinion of himself is really quite comical. One promotion with Hull followed by the sack, sound familiar ? Well it will soon as he's making the same mistakes in the way he treats players here as he did at Hull. Add in to the mix disastrous spells at Derby and Preston. Can't see how anyone can defend the bloke. Tilson as a rookie manager achieved far more and was ten times the man Brown is.

He cannot man manage simple never could never will !!!

The last players who commented on PB, went, Prosser, Bolger, and end of season Deegan Hurst, Payne & Bently, Player in Oxley has he made a save ? Cox highest paid player waste of space at this level. McGlashan not good at this level, poor poor signings, Mooney no different to last season, just a waste of space, RM needs to look very closley at the high management structure of this club, and spend money on players not management for PB.

Don't know if brown has lost the dressing room or not - but he has lost me (again).
He won't fall on his sword I think that would finish him as a manager, he's talked himself into a bit of a corner here - career wise :'(

More than a little unfair to compare PB with Steve Wignall. the dislike of Wignall was more than a little, down to his Col U connections. He was on a hiding to nothing even had he got us into the Champions League

Who replaces brown if he goes

It seems that the majority of posters on here want Brown gone which begs the question who do you replace him with, bearing in mind we are still in August there are few managers who would be willing to leave a club to come to roots hall it would have to be someone out of work.

So who is our best bet? is there anyone that could do any better?

But we did warm to Wignall a little bit when guided us to win the World Cup :dim:
