Will we face the backlash??

Its good for us tho, only 2 days rest till they play us. Hope they are knackered!
 
I hope not! Really need the 3 points to get us back on track. Especially with the tough fixtures running up until xmas..
 
They've lost 2 away games on the spin, and will be looking to put in a really good performance at home. They have some real quality players in their team, and this was always going to be one of the toughest fixtures of the season. But at the end of the day, we have great players too, so COME ON YOU BLUE BOYS!!!!
 
If we make enough noise they'll think it's an away game and buckle as usual.

To be honest - I thought he was a having a little bit of a shocker going to City in the first place. He had it all in place at Yeovil and I think they could well have been challenging for a Championship place very soon too.
 
I have a bad feeling over saturday - they will want, sorry, need to put in a good performance. If we can get a point I will be very happy.
 
Not too confident either. We may feel the backlash from this one, a draw would be a fantastic result for us....

They will need to put in a good performance but as a result they may try too hard and leave gaps. All we have to do is exploit them. See, easy 3 points

Many Southend fans super confident about three points.

All the facts lead to a very disappointing performance from the boys. I have a very bad feeling about this game and hope I am just the world's biggest pessimist!!
